What do you want for Christmas?

Fall Print Trees

You’ll need:

Large drawing paper.

Washable paint in Fall colors.

Little hands, feet and finger tips.

Wet wipes or paper towels

Newspaper

What to do:

Paint one little foot brown for the tree trunk and press it on the paper.

Paint one or two little hands brown for the branches and press on the paper around the top of the tree coming from the top of the trunk.

Dip finger tips into Fall color paints and press on tree and the ground for falling leaves.

Options:

This can be done for any season by changing the leave color and placement.

You can make green leaf prints and add other color flowers or fruits.

Glue red beads on to make an apple tree.

Fall Garland

A cute Fall garland of colorful leaves that match the Falling Leaves Curtain here.

You’ll need:

Construction paper- green, brown, red, yellow and orange.

Leaf stencils (or draw free hand) can be various shapes and sizes. I think one shape and size looked good too.

Pencil. brown  yarn, scissors, tape

What to do:

Trace or draw leaves and on construction paper.

Cut out shapes. Fold paper to cut 6 at once.

Cut a piece of yard as long as want your garland to be.

Draw veins on your leaves.

Tape leaves together.

Attach leaves to yarn. I find taping is easiest

Hang over windows or doorways by pinning or taping.

Options:

Use scrapbooking paper with patterns instead of construction paper.

Add glitter to leaves.

Falling Leaves Curtain

You’ll need:

Construction paper- green,

brown, red, yellow and orange.

Leaf stencils (or draw free hand) can be various shapes and sizes.

Pencil

Yarn- Brown or green for vines or a color to match your backdrop.

Scissors

Tape or stapler

What to do:

Trace or draw leaves on construction paper.

Cut out leaves- The more jagged the edges, the more cutting you have to do.

Add viens (Optional glitter)

Cut several pieces of yarn long enough to hang over windows.

Attach leaves to yarn. I found taping across the back worked best for me.

Hang over windows by pinning or using Fall Clothes Pins.

Use several strings to make a curtain.

Optional:

Use scrapbooking paper instead of construction paper.
